Service Description

A CCTV (closed-circuit television) inspection of a chimney flue is a non-invasive way to assess the condition of the flue from the inside. This type of inspection involves the use of a small camera, which is inserted into the flue and provides a live video feed of the inside of the chimney. ​ During a CCTV inspection of a flue, the technician will insert the camera into the flue and navigate it through the chimney, taking a video of the inside as they go. They will be looking for any signs of damage, blockages, or other issues that may need to be addressed. ​ The video footage from the inspection will be reviewed and analyzed by the technician to determine the overall condition of the flue. If any issues are identified, the technician may recommend further action, such as repairs or cleaning. ​ CCTV inspections of flues are a useful tool for identifying problems within the chimney that may not be visible from the outside or during a traditional chimney sweep. They are also less invasive and disruptive than other methods of inspection, as they do not require any dismantling or disassembly of the chimney

Cancellation Notification: We kindly request that you notify us of any cancellation or rescheduling requests as soon as possible to allow us to adjust our schedule accordingly. Cancellation Fees: We do not charge any cancellation fees for appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time except for transaction fees made online. For cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time, a cancellation fee of £25 will be applied. This fee is necessary to cover scheduling and administrative costs. 3. No-Show Policy: If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and do not provide any prior notice of cancellation or rescheduling, a no-show fee of £70 will be charged to cover the technician's time and expenses. 4. Weather-Related Cancellations: In cases of adverse weather conditions that make chimney sweeping unsafe or impractical, we reserve the right to reschedule the appointment at no additional cost to you. We prioritize the safety of our technicians and customers in such situations. 5. Emergency Cancellations: We understand that emergencies can arise, and we will make exceptions for cancellations due to unforeseen emergencies without applying cancellation fees. Please inform us as soon as possible in such cases. 6. Refund Policy: If you have prepaid for our chimney sweep services and are eligible for a refund due to a cancellation, we will process the refund within 7 days from the date of cancellation. 7. Rebooking Policy: We encourage customers who need to cancel or reschedule their appointments to promptly rebook at a more convenient time.
