Jaconelli Chimneys cleans and inspects flue systems on commercial biomass and multi-fuel boiler installations. We work with estates, land management companies, registered social landlords, local authorities, schools, care homes, NHS facilities, holiday let operators, and the O&M contractors who service the plant itself.
Our scope is the flue. We are not a boiler servicing company, and we say so plainly — boiler, burner and heat exchanger servicing is a separate discipline carried out by your plant engineers. What we do is the part that frequently falls between contracts: the flue system itself.
Why the Flue Gets Missed
Biomass flues tar and glaze far more aggressively than most operators expect, particularly on part-load running or where fuel moisture content has drifted. Deposits build in the liner, at bends, and around registers.
The boiler gets serviced under contract. The flue often doesn't sit clearly in anyone's scope — and the flue is the part that carries the fire risk. On multi-site portfolios it is common to find flues that have never been cleaned since commissioning.
What We Do
Full internal cleaning of the flue system using commercial-grade power cleaning equipment. Removal of creosote, tar deposits and combustion residue from the flue liner, bends and registers. Visual inspection of flue components, joints, seals and appliance connections, with defects identified and photographed.
Flue Condition Reports
Every visit produces a written flue cleaning and condition report: the work carried out, the condition of the flue and its components, and any defects or recommendations arising.
Reports are issued in a consistent format across your entire portfolio, so facilities and compliance teams hold a documented flue record for every site. These reports cover the flue system only and do not constitute a boiler service or an RHI annual service — your plant engineer provides that separately.
Working With O&M Contractors
If you hold servicing contracts across a portfolio of biomass installations and flue cleaning sits outside your scope, we can work as your flue subcontractor. We attend on your schedule, report in your format, and deal with your client under your name if you prefer.

Fixed-price annual programmes for multi-site operators, with visits scheduled around your maintenance windows. We work around tenants and occupants, provide advance notice for every visit, and can consolidate invoicing to suit your finance team. All client information is treated as confidential.
